some people are rude. i have a friend who really cannot be bothered to come to any party i give. she doesn't think it's rude to say "no" year after year, wo any excuse or apology. i wouldn't care except OTHER people notice that she's never there and always ask why? i've stopped pretending i know. you can say something like "what are you boycotting my parties" or you can ignore it. i've chosen to ignore it, but i'm not as close w that friend anymore. Have you ever simply said, "I miss you and wish youd come by. You know, it's not all couples." Maybe one simple call could change this for you ? As my DH says, "You never get what you don't ask for". I then try not to lecture him about ending sentences with prepositions. [ Reply | More
