np: they advise between 4 and 6mos, on the later side if you have a family history of allergies. but i wouldn't start a not-yet-4mo without clearance from ped, though. why do you want to? [ Reply | More

4 months is really the old recommendation. and for bigger formula fed dbs, it may be fine. for ebf, i'd wait until 6 months. [ Reply | More

what is the rush people!? formula and/or bm are more calorically dense, waiting until 6 months reduces risk of allergies and feeding solids is a pita and messy too! [ Reply | More
