i have a 10mo and I am 35. No trouble getting pg the first time. When should I start ttc again? I am conflicted betwn waiting until next year so dbs are a little further apart in age and worrying that it will take awhile to get pg this go-round. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Obviously you can't predict, but I got pg with my 1st on the 1st try at age 34, and pg with my 2nd on the 2nd try at age almost 37. [ Reply | More ]

^^^and my vote is for waiting. Your first probably isn't even walking yet. If you get pregnant immediately, I think having a 20 month old and a newborn would be very very difficult. Mine will be 3 years apart, which feels much more manageable to me! [ Reply | More ]

You really can't determine when you will get pg. So just try when you feel like its a good time. [ Reply | More ]

If you would really like another one, then start trying as soon as you feel up to it. At 35, you are hovering around the age when fertility drops off considerably. You may get pg first time, but you won't know til you try. Good luck. [ Reply | More ]

it depends - which would be worse for you: a much bigger difference because it takes longer to conceive or too little difference bc you get lucky right away? [ Reply | More ]
