not always this easy. you can lose the weight and your body may not look like it did prebaby. it took a full year for my hips to go back- not b/c of weight - they were just wider for a long time. [ Reply | More ]

OP: The weight is coming off, but so far, the proportions are different. My boobs are a totally different shape and hike up all my shirts. Very frustrating. [ Reply | More ]

Wait til you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight, and see how things fit then. Til then, your old clothes will not fit as well as they did. [ Reply | More ]

I hear you- I don't have the means to buy new clothes, so I'm wearing just a handful of things over & over. I segregated some things in the back of my closet that could potentially fit again if I lose weight [ Reply | More ]

Old Navy is good for reasonably stylish and very cheap. It's been great for me and my new belly. . . [ Reply | More ]

some will, some won't. You just have to try them on to know for sure. Get rid of the things that won't fit you b/c your shape changed [ Reply | More ]

it depends. when i finally lost the weight after #1, i found that my tops which i'd always wore fitted and small did not all fit. my ribs had expanded a little less than an inch (and this was 2 yrs later) and my breasts sat a little differently so that some tops were unflattering even when they fit. my waist, which was always much smaller than my hips actually became a touch more proportionate so that i fit better into new clothes, but some of my old clothes needed alterations. No, but you are going to wear them anyway and at family functions we will all wonder what you are smoking. [ Reply | More ]
