i don't know. i just thought the idea that a 5yo child has to rely on something to get sleep does not sound right (dc is now 3yo). [ Reply | More

why? i'm 35 and i have to hold a pillow to sleep well. i can see weaning a child from carrying something around constantly. but if it's only in the bed, there is no reason to wean from it. my eight year old sleeps with a stuffed animal every night. [ Reply | More

If it is just carried inside your home I'd leave it. Try to limit it's use to the home. I had a cushion that I had to have to get to sleep and it ended up going to uni with me! I'm pretty normal. [ Reply | More
