DH just got an offer for his dream job. I can't tell anyone yet, so I am telling UB. This is going to change our lives and oddly I'm kind of sad. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i'm not really sure actually. it's just the two of us in our little house with our new baby right now and everything is so comfortable and easy. i don't want to say it's a high profile kind of job but in a way it is and we'll have to move, he'll travel more, etc. just a lot of change i guess. change can be scary even if it's good change. hang in there and see how it goes. if your dh is happy about it, be as supportive as you can even if you're nervous. [ Reply | More

Big changes, even ones that are positive, can be hard & stressful. My mom told me that when my dad, post-GI, finished his degree and got a job at a local college she cried & cried. She was so comfortable with the life she had it freaked her out that they would have a different schedule, more money, etc. It worked out fine. [ Reply | More
