I am so fed up with Verizon One Bill. "Switch to Verizon local and long distance and combined with your Wireless, your bill will be more convenient and less expensive." OMG--what a nightmare. This is a prelude to asking for a recommendation for good local and long distance service. I have to keep the Verizon wireless. I had MCI local/long distance before. Anyone love their landline and/or long distance service? TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Not really answering your Q but I recently added international calls on to our Verizon local and long distance and the total price went down! Even if you don't need to make internaional calls you might save a few $ this way. [ Reply | More ]

I'm supposed to be paying approx. $140/mo for local, LD, and wireless. Every month it is over $200 (and we do not go over our 700 min. on cells). When I call, the landline cannot see the wireless bill. the wireless cannot see the landline bill. I have a 140 credit on wireless that landline cannot see. They're saying I owe $476! It's outrageous, frustrating and time-consuming. And it seems that I go through this EVERY month. One month they cut off my service after I had just paid my bill because there was no communication between the two companies (Verizon and Verizon Wireless). I'm getting angina just writing it down. Plus, I am recovering from a bilateral mastectomy and chemo and cannot deal with the stress. [ Reply | More ]

I have the Verizon "Freedom Plan" where I pay a flat $60/month for unlimited local and long distance. This includes all the extras like Caller ID, Three-Way Calling, Voicemail, etc. I have AT&T Wireless, $40/month. For the two bills combined, I have never paid more than $100 [ Reply | More ]
