Going to Bronx Zoo this weekend with two year old. Live on UES, not far from the subway OR the express bus. Which would you recommend? Also, any exhibits that are better (she loves that little zoo in Central Park - the climbing things almost more than the animals). [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

We are UES too and caught the express bus. It took about 30mins and was fine. I always prefer to be overground. [ Reply | More ]

Just FYI, the subway is overground most of the way too, as soon as it gets into the Bronx it turns into elevated train. More predictable, if you have a Yankee game that day the traffic on the bus can be bad. [ Reply | More ]

OP. Okay, thanks. Although the subway gets crazy with the Yankees too? Maybe that's the other line. [ Reply | More ]
