I EPed, but had a miserable time getting db to take a bottle. The ped suggested putting some sucrose water on the nipple. That solved 90% of the problem. Good luck! [ Reply | More ]

About a week after we started with the sucrose water. He still had his fussy/confused moments. But he ate consistently and was no longer so starving and frustrated that he couldn't calm down and eat. [ Reply | More ]

do you think maybe she would like a faster flow nipple? my ds was always bottle fed but went through this phase where he would just scream when I tried to feed him. I changed to leverl 2 and he liked it better [ Reply | More ]

We had this same problem and DH finally found a way to get her to take it (after much struggle) by rubbing the nipple on her bottom lip and bottom gum until she formed and "O" with her mouth and then she pulled in the nipple. Just putting it in her mouth made her furious. [ Reply | More ]
