How long after moving to a new house can I let 19 mo dd CIO? she wakes for the day at 4:30 and wants to play, totally unacceptable imo but I want to give her a bit of time to adjust. her room is decorated and set up the same if that matters [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

leave books and toys with her so that she can play quietly until you are ready to go to her. GL [ Reply | More ]

in my experience, cio did not work well in the morning, but its worth a try. my dd had several periods (of a few months each) where she got up at 4:30. it was hell. dh and i took turns getting up with her and basically lay on the floor of her room while she played around us. good luck!
