almost 8 mo ds is all about standing/cruising/walking. Used to love his exersaucer but now its too confining for him. Is there something out there like that that he'd enjoy - hes very close to walking. TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

they def make them and, I did some research and found out that there's absolutely nothing wrong w/ using them. except for the stair issue rumors about slowing development are wrong. go for it, sounds like you have a real mover [ Reply | More ]

just get walker that is a pusher - not the ones he sits in. He can also play with the outside of the saucer and move himself around [ Reply | More ]

If you just wait a month or two, he won't need anything because he'll be walking. Let him cruise on his own, and then let him walk. [ Reply | More ]

Get a toy he can walk behind and push like a block trolley or a ride on. He won't be interested in sitting in a walker if he is already mobile. [ Reply | More ]

my dd wasn't steady enough for a walker at 8 months. I just pushed the furniture close together and hung out with her as she moved from piece to piece. Now that she's walking on her own (13 mos), she LOVES her push toy. [ Reply | More ]
