why do some people say that the end of the first trimester is 12 wks and some say it is 14 wks? which is it really or what do you go by to know when you are in the 2nd trimester? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

because people usually equate 1 month to 4 weeks so 1 trimester would be 12 wks, but then the pg would only be 36 wks long total. Actually, one month is 4.33 weeks, so 1 trimester is 13 weeks. once you get to wk 14 youre in teh 2nd [ Reply | More
