PSA: Posting the number of students accepted to top colleges mens NOTHING if you don't post the number of students graduating overall in that class. Dalton has 127 dcs and 5 go to Yale but SS has 50 dcs and 5 go to Yale - see the difference? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

the whole thing really means nothing if you have the mindset that only 5 colleges matter. there are dozens of excellent colleges and universities and you have no idea where any of these kids applied, so it all really means nothing. Some kids actually only want to go to small liberal arts colleges and don't bother to apply to HYP even though they may well have been accepted had they applied. [ Reply | More
