Need real estate advice- if you found a house you loved and it was in a very residential neighborhood, but on the corner of a side street and a busy street (facing the side street), would you buy it? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

If it was right on the street then no but if it is back a little way then probably. [ Reply | More ]

Would it be noisy? [ Reply | More ]

no, I don't think so. If you're outside in the backyard you could certainly hear cars going by, but in the house you can't hear it at all. it's a new construction so the windows are well insulated. the busy street is still a neighborhood street- not like big trucks or anything, but a main town road. OK then why aren't you certain about it? Sounds like it might be fine. [ Reply | More ]

worried mainly about kids being close to the street (would put up fence to contain them) and worried about resale value. [ Reply | More ]
