Anyone have to get a d/c because the fetus was not developing properly? Last visit they saw a heartbeat but the fetus was not as far along as it should be. They took some blood work and will be going for another ultrasound this week. Just trying to prepare myself for the worse. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had two of these--called missed m/cs. I'm so sorry. I also have a great kid (3rd pg.) [ Reply | More ]

I'll add that yes, your dates could also be off. I don't want to prophesy doom. But mine both had hbs, too--very slow ones. [ Reply | More ]

possibly your dates are off. If they saw a HB, that is a good sign. Just keep thinking positive and GL to you. [ Reply | More ]

I'm no doctor, but I highly doubt they would ever do a D&C on a fetus with a heartbeat without concrete information about why it was not developing properly... fwiw, it's pretty common to be off by a couple of weeks. good luck. [ Reply | More ]
