OK, flame away, but I could never understand someone who says they have a hard time waking dc up in the morning....my kids, all 3 of them, are awake by 6 am, sometimes 5:30. I've had to make them bedtimes later to get them to sleep that long. What time is a kid going to bed that can't be woken by 7 am for school? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i kind of agree but on the other hand, plenty of people can't seem to believe that i can't make my kids sleep later. i think to some extent kids have natural sleep patterns and we can fiddle with them only to a certain extent - some are on a later schedule than others. altho i think the early schedule is more common. My ds has a hard time getting up early. Granted, he goes to bed around 9 pm (he's 4 yo), but dh and I both don't come home until at least 7 pm so ds stays up to spend time with us. [ Reply | More
