almost 5 yo DD somewhere picked up "you're mean" -- when I say something she does not like she says that to me. It really bothers me that she says that. I have tried :I am sorry that you feel that way" - i feel like if i make too big of a deal out of it she will use it as an attention getter. any thoughts on how to get her to stop saying. My 4.5 Ds is doign the dame thing! I think it too close to being disrespectful for my taste, but not sure what to do about it. I think he has a right to feel "bumbed" he is being disciplined, but yet it does not seem right to let him call me a mean mommy. Not sure what to do. [ Reply | More ]
