Worried. ds will be 8 mo on Friday and has not (even remotely) started to crawl. He sits fine, but can't pull himself into sitting. I haven't seen him roll from back to tummy (although my mom claims he has) Is this cause for concern? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

hope not, my 10mo is still the same way. He's otherwise very active, pulls up on people, etc. Pediatrician said not to worry unless they are not moving by 1 year, I am inclined to agree [ Reply | More ]

My just turned 9mo started crawling a few days ago. He wasn't really rolling much until 8mo either. [ Reply | More ]

My niece never crawled. Just started walking at 12 or 13 months. Her ped wasn't worried at all. [ Reply | More ]

my dd crawled like a pro at 6 months but didn't walk until 16 months -- she tried a few steps at a year, and apparently, decided crawling was way more palatable for her. don't sweat it, assuming all else developing on schedule. crawling isn't even technically a milestone. [ Reply | More ]
