dd (3yo) throws up if we even mention giving her medicine. this weekend she had a high fever and we had to give her suppositories. what happens if she ever needs antibiotics? anyone btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Some antibiotics can be hidden in milk, applesauce, chocolate sauce, etc. Or you could try to bribe her. Or there are antibiotic shots. It's a pain, isn't it - my dd is the same way but had a medical condition which required her to take medicine every day. So glad that's over! [ Reply | More ]

its the worst. must say i deserve it - i was the same as a kid!! my normally very patient father once poured a whole bottle of medicine over my head in frustration. we tried hiding the tylenol/motrin in milk, to no avail, and i suggested applesauce with no luck, but next time i'll just have to lie. glad to hear you got through it.
