have 3 yo twins and our double stroller broke. we have 2 singles so i am considering getting one of those "boogie boards" (don't know if that is the right term) that attaches in the back for short walks. We have a big jogger for long walks. good idea? Can the stroller fold easily with one of those attached? TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I used a boogie board for my 4 yr old twins every day taking them to preschool - it worked great. I did it bec. we had to go up stairs & it was a LOT easier to lug the single than the double all the way up to where they stored them for the day. Unfortunately you cannt fold them at all (at least not my Maclaren) once the board is attached, but it was worth it for me. Since we did it every day they always took turns standing/sitting (standing the way there, sitting the way back). Yet another example of how twins learn to share from day one! [ Reply | More ]

thanks for your input. my only concern is that I was planning to keep this in my car--so I'd have to fold it when not in use. I guess I could experiment with putting my maclaren in unfolded. [ Reply | More ]

There may be another type that allows you to fold, I just got the biggest one since I knew we would be using it every day. Have to say it wasn't that sturdy - broke within a year & had to buy another one. But, obviously, we were giving it quite a workout! [ Reply | More ]

np: some are really easy to detach. Once detached, the Mac folds like normal. [ Reply | More ]
