Anyone have a great location for a first birthday party attended by grownups and toddlers? Preferably near the upper east side. It is in August so I am scared about just make plans for the park [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I agree that the park could be so hot and then you have to be stressed about weather. If the other kids are babies, you could do a restaurant - maybe Nick's (the pizza/past place) which has a nice private room and isn't crazy expensive. If it's more of a toddler party, you can do Jodi's Gym on East 84th. If it's a hybrid, you can look into the 92nd Street Y, renting raw space - Rhinelander (with a little playground, so reasonable), All Souls. By the way, Music for Aardvarks performs at parties - I think the music thing is good if the kids have a range of ages. [ Reply | More ]
