nanny wants to know if she cnbring he 2 dd (3, and 6) the last week of august because she can't find anyone to watch them, I said yes, but honestly, i think its messed up. I never ask MY boss if I can bring my kids to work.... why is it okay for her to ask? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

ITD -- having her kids there will certainly prevent her from doing her job as well as she normally would. OP, I wouldn't like this either. I probably would have told her to take the week off as vacation time. [ Reply | More

You are nuts. Are you suggesting that a SAHM of one is BETTER than a SAHM of three? She can take of your kid as well if not better with her kids there. We loved it on the days our nanny brought her daughters over because my kids loved playing with them. [ Reply | More

it's really common for nannies to bring their kids to work for some part of the summer. This is only one week. The 6 year old's school is closed and the 3 year old's day care is closed. Would you rather her just tell you she can't work that work? How old are your kids? My kids always love when the nanny's kids come to work with her -- built in play dates. [ Reply | More
