i guess its a little different because her job is child care. So, she'll kind of be doing the same thing anyway. If you brought your kids to work it actually prevents you from doing your own job [ Reply | More ]

ITD -- having her kids there will certainly prevent her from doing her job as well as she normally would. OP, I wouldn't like this either. I probably would have told her to take the week off as vacation time. [ Reply | More ]

So she isn't paid and the OP doesn't have child care? Good solution to the problem! [ Reply | More ]

You are nuts. Are you suggesting that a SAHM of one is BETTER than a SAHM of three? She can take of your kid as well if not better with her kids there. We loved it on the days our nanny brought her daughters over because my kids loved playing with them. [ Reply | More ]

It's not like it is permanent, but honestly you're not paying enough for her to get the quality daycare that you are. She probably has friends and neighbors doing it, so summer can be hard [ Reply | More ]

it's really common for nannies to bring their kids to work for some part of the summer. This is only one week. The 6 year old's school is closed and the 3 year old's day care is closed. Would you rather her just tell you she can't work that work? How old are your kids? My kids always love when the nanny's kids come to work with her -- built in play dates. [ Reply | More ]
