HELP! 10 month old ds has started waking up every morning at 5:45. He used to sleep until 7 - 7:30 every morning. anyone btdt? what do I do - go to him, CIO, hope it changes? Is this typical? TIA! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my 7.5 mo started doing this too, although not as drastic. went from waking at 6:30 to 5:30, then 5, then 4:45. he got back on track for a few days, then again 5:30. I have no ide why. slept till 6 this morning, tho [ Reply | More ]

DD is a little older, but you can either dream feed late at night (if he's not too old - I forget) or just wake up and it will pass. My DD always woke up that early at that age. Some books said to let her CIO but I figured it wouldn't last forever and I would just get up and play with her. It didn't last forever and I am glad I didn't leave her to cry in the morning (night a different story!) [ Reply | More ]

the books say go in and try to soothe, give lovey or something, then go back out again. but that wouldnt work for my ds in a million years. Some of my friends give a bottle and put back down, but I dont know if you think thats a good idea. I dont really [ Reply | More ]
