you must not care very much about academic performance. what are you worried will change? it will become less touchy-feely? [ Reply | More ]

i don't really care about academic performance of the school. he is smart, and will do well anywhere. i want him to get a well rounded education and really didn't want him in a segregated learning environment. [ Reply | More ]

MSC is a wonderful school. New lottery system has been in place for at least a year now and K students seem as lovely and diverse and adorable as ever. The tone of the school is set by the principal and she is in it for the long haul. We chose MSC over G&T years ago and would do it again in a nanosecond. [ Reply | More ]

PS 166? I have a friend who chose her zoned school over 166 also. The segregation was a big issue. Also, 166 seems very anti-G&T. [ Reply | More ]
