My 43 yr old brother just boasted to me that he stole the swimming pool from Target the other day - just walked right out of the store with it. His rationalizations include that no one would help him haul it onto his cart for 15 min he was trying to ask and that stores like that are hurting our economy. We're growing so far apart - this is just an example. Am I being uptight about this - I just find it so sleazy . . . I know at the end of the day he's responsible for his own actions but . . . With his logic, I could rob Harry Winston blind. They are terribly unhelpful in the store and diamonds are very bad for the economies of many countries. Does he had dc? Isn't he worried about teaching them that laws, rules, and ethics are notions to be bent to their own desires? [ Reply | More ]
