The treatment alone does not work (and it is crazily toxic). The only thing to do is comb and comb and comb with the very fine-toothed lice comb. Make sure you have gotten all the eggs out. They look like little swellings along the hair. You have to comb thoroughly for a few days in a row, because the eggs grow and grow before the lice hatch, and you have to make sure you have caught them before they hatch. If they were too small for your comb one day, you'll catch them the next. We all came home from vacation with lice one year. The combing was more or less a full time job for a week. [ Reply | More

I think you probably still have lice, if all you have done is the chemical treatment. If I remember correctly, that only kills the live lice, not the eggs. So once the eggs hatch, you have lice again. I'm sorry. It's a horrible curse. [ Reply | More

Go to hair faries, the chemical washes don't usually work anymore - the lice have developed immunitiy. [ Reply | More
