How old is your dc and how many classes is he/she taking? Also, what kind of activities do you do during the week. I am worried I am not doing enough with mine. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

DD is 4 yo and we are doing too many things this summer. I usually limit her to 1 or 2 activities per week. For summer we have swimming lessons (4 weeks out of the summer 3x per week), soccer, ballet, art class and about 1/3 of the summer session of preschool. [ Reply | More ]

3 & 5 yo. 3 yo is taking swim lessons in June for 2 weeks. 5 yo will go to Sports Camp for 2 weeks in July (3 hrs daily). When we have time, we can go to library storytimes at the park one day a week, catch a free Momtopia movie event from Regal Cinemas, maybe catch a summer festival from different areas, maybe swim at one of the wade pools throughout the city. I'm focusing on pick-up playdates rather than structured ones because it's the summer! We are working on improving bike skills (maybe take off the training wheels?) and potty training ( I procrastinated). [ Reply | More ]
