WALL-E ... took 6 yo ds to see it today - fantastic movie, I'm sure it'll become a classic but it's really more an adult movie than a kid movie. My friend's 6 yo dd and my ds were kind-of bored by it because they didn't really understand the major theme of the movie and we, the adults, kept having to explain the concept of the movie to them. I loved it though. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I took my 5 yo ds today, and we ended up leaving halfway through. He hated it. I didn't like it that much either, though. I hate show tunes. [ Reply | More ]

OP: I loved it - thought it was very creative but it totally goes over kid's heads and it's supposed to be a kid's movie, right? I could see so many squirmy kids in the theater - some left early. [ Reply | More ]

OR: ita that young kids will not get it. I would like to see the whole thing someday. It reminded me of old '70s sci-fi movies. [ Reply | More ]

I went with my 3 yo today and we both loved it. It was his first movie in a theatre, so that was part of his excitement. But I agree, it was a great movie. The middle third was a little cluttered, but overall the movie was wonderful. [ Reply | More ]
