Moms who have had 3 DCs, how did your 3rd pregnancy turn out? First two were great, so I am assuming the same, but OB says sometimes #3 throws in a wrinkle? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I was in my mid 40's for #3 after having #1 at 28 and #2 at 32. It was pretty uneventful. We had some scares because of all the tests( they treated me like I was a science experiment) had an echogenic heart focus and subsequent Downs scare and also had an irregular heart beat that turned out to be benign. 1st labor was 21 hours- 1 hour pushing, 2nd labor was 5 hours-20 mins pushing, so I was expecting a 2-3 hour labor with #3, certainly no longer than 5 hours...and it was 12 hours long and 40 mins of pushing (baby was sunny side up so that was the wrinkle I guess) [ Reply | More
