I have always felt that having a live-in au pair or babysitter is playing with fire. Who needs the competition? At a minimum there will be plenty of comparison and any mom is going to come up short. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I posted about my father and I have to be honest, my mom was much prettier, funnier, wittier than our babysitter/au pair. That said, she was younger of course. More worshipful, maybe, as she was more naive? (This is all in hindsight guessing now that I am an adult of course.) [ Reply | More
