my 8mo's favorite toys are an empty plastic poland spring bottle and an almost empty tube of sensidyne toothpaste. she teethes & gums both forever. but i wonder--could either of them not be so good for her? they're always in her mouth. tia [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I wouldn't want her eating the Sensodyne. Can you really squeeze it out? All the babies LOVE the water bottles. I'm sure it's fine. Another great baby "toy": Oxo whisk. It has a big rubber handle that is a delight to chew on. [ Reply | More

My DS was obsessed with water bottles, too. However, I found out that plastics made out of no. 1 platic is only good for one use because it can degrade. So, I wouldn't let him play with it for too long. [ Reply | More
