Has anyone gotten a positive OPK (indicating the LH surge) a few days before their period was due? This is my first time using the OPKs, in advance of starting to ttc next month. I generally have 32-33 cycles. I got the positive OPK on day 18, after several days of negatives. Today is now day 27 of my cycle. I noticed a lot of CM (though not quite EWCM) yesterday, and so I did the tests yesterday and today out of curiosity. Today I got a positive OPK. I'm trying to figure out whether this means I didn't ovulate the first time, or whether it is normal to sometimes have a second LH surge shortly before your period is due.
