Dh thinking of applying for jobs in London. If something worked out, we may move as early as February. We have one ds (22 mo old), and I would like to start ttc soon. Any drawbacks to living in the UK that I need to consider, i.e. having another baby abroad? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

op-thanks. I'm excited, but nervous. I know this is probably a silly question, but if I had another baby in London, would he/she have dual citizenship? [ Reply | More ]

I did the opposite, moved to NY with 4mo and now have a US citizen baby! It's been a great move for us and I have to say having a baby here was really no different to back in the UK except the hospitals aren't quite so plush! One good thing about having a baby in the UK will be free healthcare! GL [ Reply | More ]

My #1 was born in the Chelsea & Westminster and my room at NY Presbyterian was miles better. I bet you friend paid for a private room I was on the standard NHS ward. [ Reply | More ]

no, but I think NYP is better than Roosevelt. Hated being in a shared room [ Reply | More ]
