can you reccomend a place that i can go with my 1 yr old for about 5 days? want to leave today or tomorrow, would have to take somekind of transportaton. thnks [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Train or express bus to Spring Lake NJ....there are some bed and breakfasts within a block to the beach. I know that Spring Lake Inn takes kids. You could walk or get a tax from the train station. [ Reply | More

If you are stillhere: You take the New jersey Coast line from Penn Station and switch at Long Branch. (The trains meet/wait for one another) Ther is an ocasional express form Newark, via Hoboken first. If you call Spring Lake Inn and they have no spaces, they will have other recs. [ Reply | More

it is 2 hours by (slow) train, about 1.5 hours max, driving. There is a cute, quiet town with a pizza joint and a few other places with dinner in walking distance [ Reply | More
