Please advise. We're gonna be flying w/ a 10 mo db on long domestic (LA to Toronto) next month. We haven't purchased a seat for him, our tickets alone were a fortune. Everyone is warning me I'll regret this move. How hard is it for dh and I to hold him? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

it is a complete pita on a long haul trip, esp if he is mobile. if not crowded, they will give you a seat. bring a sling or bjorn and hope for the best, but it will be a loooooooooooooong trip [ Reply | More

that is actually not bad for the flight. we have always bought tix for our kids-except on flights shorter than 1 hr. bring the car seat too. you will get through it, just might not be pleasant [ Reply | More

no need to do that. we fly x country a lot (grandparents on separate coast), it never is that bad. we have only had 1 bad flight with this rude woman in front of us (who ironically had 2 kids with her-she was nasty to them, nasty to us, nasty to most everyone). [ Reply | More

I spent a whole 7hour flight to London carrying my 11mo around the plane as every time we sat down he screamed. He never went near his seat. Also if I ever see the person who told us it was better to do the flight overnight I will kill them and probably so would all the people trying to sleep around us! GL! [ Reply | More
