i have a birth control pill dilemma. i took mircette for a month and my period was awful so the doc switched me to seasonale. it is day 3 and i feel so sick and irritable. i just threw the pill up and want to stop taking it but, dh and i had sex 2 days ago. i am afraid i will get pregnant if i stop. wwyd? op: i agree, i hate bc pills. my doc put me on them for pms. i told her that i have had issues with bc pills but she insisted i try them again. my only other option is an antidepressant which also has side effects. i am just so tired of feeling like crap between severe pms and bc pills. op: yes, that is why i am on bc as a last resort. i have done everything that i know of. the main problem is that when my pms occurs, all of that stuff kind of goes out the window and i can't help it. [ Reply | More

I'm really sorry. I hope you are able to find something that will work. Maybe another BC pill would work for you. I know they make lower dose ones now. And try dif antidepressants too. They don't all work for everyone. GL [ Reply | More
