totally depends on where you live, how much walking you do, etc. love our bug and have been using it for almost 3 years, but i think the snap & go/stroller is fantastic for the first several months. super easy in restaurants and in taxis, and the kolcraft has a huge underbasket. i used to do a week's worth of grocery shopping with dd in that stroller. snap and go it is 50 bucks and all you'll need in the city for awhile. Decide later if you want the bug or if you go straight to maclaren. I've had all three and a year later all I use is maclaren [ Reply | More

Just had my 2nd 3 wks ago, used Bug for only short while with DS (now 4)--found it was bulky and no space compartment below, no snack tray. Waste of money. I'm using Graco Snap N' Go--easy, and will transition to Maclaren soon as she's old enough. [ Reply | More
