My 4 yo dd is sort of anto social. She prefers being with the teachers at school to playing with kids. When I want to set up a play date she often says no...that there is nobody she wants to play with. She prefers bing with adults and her brother. She seriously is perfectly happy sitting on teacher's laps...they have to tell her to go play otherwise she would be there all day. Anyone btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my dd was like that at 3 -- she'd talk to the preschool teachers all day but wasn't so interested in the kids. now at 4, she's still happy to talk to adults, but definitely is happy hanging out and playing with kids her age, so I guess I'd give it time. [ Reply | More
