Question for those who were told baby's gender during fetal anatomy scan: Was the scan accurate (ie did you have the gender you were told to expect)? Just had mine today and am wondering how much to rely on it. Thanks! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I saw ds penis on ultrasound in between 12 and 13 weeks and there was no mistaking it. For my twins, saw both testicles and penis at 16 week ultrasound, again, no mistaking it. [ Reply | More ]

I've only heard of one that was wrong. Friend of a friend kind of thing. They were really clear each time for us. [ Reply | More ]

ohhh, I thought you were talking the nucal scan, I think that it is something like 95% on the anatomy scan (that's the one at 20w right?). You can look up the statistics, and of course, you will also see people who the scan turned out wrong. The lovely thing about the internet is that even if there is only a .02% chance, of the millions of people using it, you will find the people that make up that .02% because they tend to be the loudest. What week are you. My best friend was told her baby was a girl at 16 weeks and then at 20 weeks it was perfectly clear it was a boy. [ Reply | More ]
