my broker was going to have a dinner in honor of his b-day and said no kids. His youngest kid is 22 but his brothers & sister have kids ranging from 1 month - 16 years old by the time of this party. At first I thought that's fine - its dinner, a night out, drinks - okay; now he's changed it to a brunch and I think, still wants no kids. I can't decide if this is ok... For the rest of us weekend days is family time - nevermind how do you get a sitter for a Sunday daytime? Thoughts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Ahh... it its your brother talk to him and ask if now kids are invited. it doesn't make sense that he wouldn't invite his neices and nephews to a daytime party [ Reply | More ]

especially true - he doesn't want his own sister's kids there for brunch? brunches never have to be adults-only affairs. [ Reply | More ]

it's really not that hard to get a sitter for a weekend day - actually it may be easier bc less demand. [ Reply | More ]
