looking to buy a home (first time buyer) and just curious about homes that may have a brook or stream behind the home. if the brook never floods, why else would it be bad to buy that home? in general, would having a brook devalue the home? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my only concern would be that it suggests house is close to water table and I have a lot of iron tools to put in the basement which I don't want to rust. [ Reply | More ]
