5 mo falls asleep at 8pm after bedtime routine. He is sleeping 4 hours or so during the day. Night wakings are every 1.5 - 3 hrs. The only thing that gets him back asleep is nursing. I am starting to go crazy. WWYD? EBF, working mom, DS in crib in own room. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

this is me! except dd sleeps in pak-n-play in our room. i'm exhausted. i take her into bed and altho i try to put her back in pak-n-play we both usually fall back asleep in bed. it's the only way i can function. (Please, anyone bdtd, share your wisdom!!) [ Reply | More

is he nursign because he's hungry, or jsut enough to get him back to sleep? if the latter, ask dad to handle night wakings for a few days and see what happens. [ Reply | More

He is not hungry. DH tries to soothe, but DS NEVER goes back to sleep. We have tried up to 30 minutes of crying. Just can't get him to go back to sleep. [ Reply | More
