For various reasons, bf'ing my ds didn't work out and I only did it for a month. I'd like to give it a shot for #2 -- but if I end up bf'ing #2 for several months, should I feel guilty that db #1 didn't get that? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No - kids are different, circumstances change. You do the best you can for each one that doesn't mean the exact same thing. [ Reply | More ]

Same happened to me #1 got bf for 3 mos, still bf'ding #2. #2 is a different kid, much more high maintenance. #1 was born during a very stressful time during some strange family circumstances. It's OK [ Reply | More ]

no guilt -- # 2 is not going to be an only child either, which #1 got to do for a while -- they are different kids... you are a different person now -- just love them and give them what you can according to their needs, and it's fine. [ Reply | More ]
