Anyone with experience applying out of one private to another in an off year like 2nd or third grade? How do you go about this? How do you figure out if schools have places? How do you ask existing teachers for references? What if it does not work out, must be uncomfortable to stay where you are. Just not sure current school is the right place (although they like my DC).
