My friend did. At about 8 weeks or so she learned that was what it was. And she did ultimately have a D&C. FWIW she has two perfectly healthy kids now with no further pregnancy related issues. Good luck and be well. [ Reply | More ]

I thought that you wouldn't know about blighted ovum until an u/s, why do you think this is happening to you? [ Reply | More ]

I had an ultrasound yesterday at 6.5 weeks. They saw the gestational sac, but no yolk sac. It could mean it is early and I am less pg that I thought or a blighted ovum. Bloodwork is in progress to see what's up. [ Reply | More ]

uggg, I hope it turns out alright! Keep in mind, before they see a baby, u/s isn't that great, because everything is still so small. It is very possible for you still to have a viable pregnancy. [ Reply | More ]
