3 y/o ds seems to be having trouble making friends at school. He gets a bit intense/excited and I think it is off-putting to other kids. Any tips for helping him develop more social skills. He very much wants to play with every kid he comes in contact with and it's heart-breaking to watch a lot of them give him the cold shoulder. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

This is what preschool is all about. Ask the teacher which kids might be good playmates for dc and make a few individual playdates with them. Thn ds will feel more secure at school and relax a bit. [ Reply | More
