I have great relationship with dh, but feel weird about having a really good looking 25 yo nanny in the house. I think she's good with the kids so considering hiring her. Dh works from home some days and I dont feel comfortable with the idea of them there on their own. What do I do? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would talk to your husband about it. I don't like the advice of "men are like XXX women are like YYY so we should do ZZZ" -- there is no cookie cutter answer. Maybe he also feels uncomfortable with an attractive young nanny in the house, in which case don't hire her -- just both of you discuss your feelings and decide. [ Reply | More

^^^ to clarify, this answer was given under the assumption you trust your dh completely. If not, that's another problem altogether. I do, and this is what I would do. We did hire young nannies, one of whom was very attractive. It was not a problem for us. [ Reply | More

if you're uncomfortable, don't hire her. In my experience, however, you have to get a basic to homely grl or a total 100% sex-bomb knockout. he won't have any interest in hmely, and he'll be too intimidated by sex-bomb. [ Reply | More
