Going in for a C-section on Friday. Any last-minute advice from those who have BTDT? So far I've been told to bring prunes to the hospital and drink warm water afterwards to avoid constipation. Sounds fun! TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Bring Gas-X with you (ask the nurses for it right after surgery, but I've heard some nurses are a pain about getting it for you). Definitely start moving asap, helps with healing. [ Reply | More ]

I had one (unplanned) and actually it wasn't as bad as I thought. The pain was excrutiating the first few days, so take the percoset, but I left on ibuprofen only. [ Reply | More ]
