My DD is an only and often talks to an imaginary friend but uses name of real fried as school. Is this ok? It freaks me out. She is 3. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

imaginary friends are very healthy. they allow kids to practice out different relationship dynamics. my dc's each had multiple imaginary friends-it allowed them safe space to explore different situations [ Reply | More ]

It has nothing to do with her being an only child. It's developmentally appropriate. My 3 yo sometimes used the name of her "real" friends also [ Reply | More ]
