Might Need a Cerclage-Really scared at the prospect of it. Afraid of the pain duing procedure and after. Plus, what if I go into labor before it's been removed? Anyone out there who'd had one? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my bf has had 3. they will give you an epidural during the procedure, she said she just felt crampy for a few days. They monitor you closely towards the end of your pregnancy and you will be instructed to go straight to L&D if you have any contractions so it can be taken out. I think normally it is removed around 36-37 weeks to avoid that scenario. [ Reply | More
